Now when i dial out in my area code, i have to dial a 1. When on the magicjack box, i could just dial the area code without the 1 in front. Any ideas what i did wrong? I have the same ATA (acquired from Vonics) and find that the 1 is necessary so I pretty much just say TPTB and live with 11 digit dialing. A small tradeoff but I get great reception as opposed to using the USB dongle. Just had to upgrade the firmware on the MTA and now you dont have to dial a 1.
This was already working on another MTA-6328 and all configs looked pretty much the same. So tried firmware upgrade and it solved the problem.
